About
Leon is a PhD student at the division of Applied Acoustics since June 2021 and part of the Vibroacoustics group. His research topic “Evaluation of Acoustic Design Solutions in Virtual Environments” combines the fields of virtual acoustics and audio signal processing with aspects of urban-, room- and psychoacoustics.
Leon received his bachelor degree in Audio and Video Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, Germany. After working in the broadcast industry for a while he came to Sweden in 2019 to study in the Sound and Vibration Master’s programme. He graduated with his MSc thesis „Perceptual Differences Caused by Altering the Elevation of Early Room Reflections“.
